The SEA-ME-WE 5 Consortium is pleased to announce that another successful roundtable panel discussion was held in Chicago, USA on 16thMay 2017 during ITW. On Day 2 the SEA-ME-WE 5 Consortium hosted a panel discussion called: “A new paradigm in submarine cable: How is SEA-ME-WE 5 changing the traditional approach?” with the active participation of the following representatives

The distinguished panel members and the moderator Erik Kreifeldt, Senior Analyst at TeleGeography discussed and covered all the SEA-ME-WE 5 subsea cable related special technical and commercial characteristics and the advantages of the award winning subsea cable system. A huge interest were shown by the people being present at the occasion.
Completing this event by the use of a significant communication platform resulted a very efficient way of promoting the SEA-ME-WE 5 project at ITW 2017. By doing so; further interests were generated for future possible commercial application for all SEA-ME-WE 5 member companies.
