SEA-ME-WE 5 Consortium hosted a Sponsored Roundtable Discussion Event in Chicago, on 13th May during ITW 2015. The purpose of event was to introduce the SEA-ME-WE 5 project for potential business partners. The roundtable discussion lasted 90 minutes and the structure of the event was designed to have a panel of 5 of the SEA-ME-WE 5 members plus a moderator. The panelists were represented by China Telekom Global, Orange, STC, Telekom Italia Sparkle and Turk Telekom International. The moderator of the event was Julian Rawle, independent consultant.
It turned out to be a well-attended event and the Q&A session greatly covered all details about how this unique submarine cable system can revolutionize the interested parties’ businesses by reducing cost and latency.
